We’ve been tucked away at B-228 in the Peenya Industrial Area for quite some time now. Most mornings start with the same routine, unlocking the heavy doors and getting the machines warmed up. It gets pretty loud once everything is running, but that’s just how it is around here. We handle a lot of batching work, mostly stuff that goes into plastics or other materials. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy. The guys on the floor know their way around the equipment, even if some of the older gear needs a bit of a nudge now and then to keep going. We don’t really do much in the way of big meetings or fancy office stuff. Most of the time, we’re just out there making sure the mixes are right. Peenya is a crowded place, especially with all the trucks moving in and out during the day, so getting things shipped out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on what’s in front of us. It’s a lot of manual labor and watching gauges. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but we clean up as best we can before heading home. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up, do their jobs, and try to get things out the door on time. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a bunch of us working in a shed.
