Royal Furnishing Co is located at No. 10 on Dickenson Road. This is a pretty central part of the city, and we have been in this spot for a good number of years. Our shop is full of different materials for furnishing homes. When you walk in, you’ll see rolls of cloth and samples stacked up everywhere. It’s not one of those big, shiny showrooms you see in malls. It’s a more traditional kind of place. We have an old wooden counter where we do all our measurements and talk to customers. We don't have a sales team or any marketing people. It’s usually just us here to help whoever comes in. We like talking to the customers and hearing about what they are working on in their houses. Dickenson Road can get quite busy with traffic, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more slow-paced. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People usually find us because they live in the area or someone told them about us. We just keep doing things the same way we always have. It’s about having the right materials and being here when people need them. We open at ten in the morning and close up when the day is done. It’s a simple business and we’ve stayed here because it works for us.
