Rotary Eye Hospital

In Rajaji Nagar, specifically the 5th Block, we’ve set up our eye hospital. It’s a well-known part of the city, and we’re right there among the shops and houses. The area is usually bustling with activity, which we can hear from the clinic throughout the day. Our hospital is focused on eyes, so everything we have is geared towards that. We’ve got the dark rooms for testing and the bright areas where we help people pick out frames. It’s a practical space, not designed to impress anyone, just to work well. We see a lot of elderly folks who live in the neighborhood coming in for their regular checkups. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded, and we have to bring in extra stools. It’s a very hands-on environment. The doctors and nurses are always on their feet, moving from one patient to the next. We don’t use a lot of fancy medical jargon when we talk to people; we just explain things simply. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn from all the walking, but that’s fine. It shows how many people have come through over the years. We take things as they come, whether it’s a busy Monday or a slow Thursday. Being in the heart of Rajaji Nagar means there’s always something happening just outside our doors.
