Roshan Eye Clinic & Surgical Centre

Our clinic is located at No. 266/A on 80 Feet Road in HAL 2nd Stage. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how the traffic can get in the evenings, but we are in a pretty good spot that’s easy to find once you’re on the main road. We do eye checkups and also have a section for surgical procedures when someone needs more than just a new prescription. The building has been here for a while, so it has that lived-in feel to it. There is a small space out front where you can park a couple of bikes, though cars have a harder time finding a spot nearby. Inside, the waiting room is plain with some simple benches and a water cooler. I usually sit at the front desk and try to keep the appointments moving along. Sometimes the computer acts up, and things take a bit longer than they should, but we get through it. We have the usual eye testing machines that make those little clicking and whirring noises. The surgical area is kept very clean, of course, even if the rest of the clinic looks a bit old-fashioned. We see a lot of people from the nearby offices and also older residents from the HAL area. It’s not one of those shiny corporate hospitals; it’s just a regular clinic where we know many of our patients by their names. We just do our daily work and try to help people see a bit better.
