Rohinee Trading Company

We are based at No. 84 on Pvr Road in Jolly Mohalla. If you know Ranasinghpet, you know it’s a place where everyone is trading something. Our shop is surrounded by others selling all sorts of things, so it’s always loud and full of people. We trade in various goods and our day is mostly spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has character. We have a small warehouse area where we keep the stock that came in that morning. Everything is stacked up high, and we use every inch of space we have. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that we go to three times a day. The guys who move the sacks are always joking around, which makes the work easier. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us trying to keep the books balanced and the customers happy. Sometimes the traffic on Pvr Road gets so bad that the delivery trucks can’t get to us until evening. We just wait and use that time to organize the paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the trading world. Each day is different depending on what’s in demand. We stay until the last customer leaves, which is usually well after dark. It is just a normal trading life.
