Rohan Builders (I) Pvt Ltd

Working near ITPL Road means we see a lot of the tech side of Bangalore, but our side of things is a lot more hands-on. We are located at 755 in the BEML Layout, and Rohan Builders is the name on our door. Deepak Naidu is part of the setup here. Every day is a mix of dealing with the heavy traffic on the main road and then getting down to the actual business of construction. We handle a lot of logistics, like figuring out how to get a big truck through these streets without causing a massive jam. Our office is a practical space where we store our tools and go over the plans for whatever project is currently on the go. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We talk to the laborers in the morning and the engineers in the afternoon. Sometimes we have to stay late because a concrete pour is happening and you can't just leave that halfway. We use everyday tools and talk about things like slab thickness and pipe fittings. It is not glamorous, and our clothes usually smell like a construction site by the end of the day. We are just here doing the work that needs doing, keeping an eye on the details and making sure the structures stand up like they should. It’s a busy life but it is what we know and we just keep at it.
