Rock Cutting

The Rock Cutting shop is located in Nagarabhavi on Gurudwara Road. We are at 217 in the 12th Block of the 2nd Stage, near the Ring Road. It is a very physical place to work. As the name suggests, we spend our time cutting rock and stone for various projects. It is a loud environment because of the saws and the machinery we use all day. There is always a layer of stone dust on everything, even our clothes and the old calendar on the wall. We have been in this spot for a while and the proximity to the Ring Road is very helpful for moving heavy materials in and out. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably find us in the back with our ear protection on. We take orders from builders and individuals who need specific sizes and shapes. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them instead of cutting. That is just part of the job. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the sound of the work usually lets people know we are here. It's a small crew of us and we've worked together for a long time. We just focus on the stone and making sure the cuts are right.
