We are located at 1/5, Nanjundeshwara Krupa, which is on 3rd Cross in Avalahalli. It is part of Bangalore, so you can imagine the traffic we deal with every single day. Rmc Readymix (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a good while. The building isn't anything special, just a regular place where we get the work done. We start pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of checking the mix and making sure the water ratios are right. It is a messy business, to be honest. You have got cement dust on everything and the sound of the mixers is always in the background. We have a small team here. Some of us have been friends for years. We just sit around the office when things are slow and then it gets crazy busy all of a sudden. Avalahalli has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings coming up everywhere you look. We just try to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the narrow roads around the 3rd Cross area. We just tell the customers to be patient. It is honest work and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just a bunch of people trying to get the concrete delivered before it sets in the drum. That is the daily goal.
