We are based out of Hunasamaranahalli, right on the 5th floor of the building at 25 Hosahalli Main Road. If you’re looking for us, we’re directly opposite the HDFC, which makes it easier for people to find the right turn. Being up on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view, though mostly we’re just looking at the tops of trees and other buildings. The office is a mix of old desks and newer computers. We have a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corners because we never seem to have enough shelf space for everything. It’s a simple setup. We come in, get the coffee going, and start working through the pile of drawings on the desk. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow, so we wait around and chat with the neighbors from the other floors. Hunasamaranahalli is a bit out of the way for some, but it’s a good spot for us to focus. We spend plenty of time checking over site plans and making sure the technical bits are sorted. It’s not glamorous work, and the office can get pretty cluttered when we’re in the middle of a big job. We don’t really do the whole polished business thing. We just focus on the lines on the page and making sure the buildings we work on make sense. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day. We just keep our heads down and keep drawing.
