Our place is over on Dodballapura Main Road in Yelahanka. If you know where Bagini Restaurant is, we are right near there, also close to BMS IT. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the construction and the traffic heading towards the airport. We spend most of our time out in the sun, digging holes and moving heavy bags of soil. It isn’t glamorous, but it keeps us busy. My hands are usually stained with mud by the time lunch rolls around. We’ve seen Yelahanka change a lot over the years. More buildings, less open space, which I guess is why people want gardens now. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s mostly just a spot where we keep the supplies and meet up before heading to a site. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in that Yelahanka traffic, which is a real pain, but we try to keep on schedule. We just handle the plants and the grass and the stones. It’s a lot of physical work, and sometimes the plants don’t cooperate, but that is gardening for you. We just like being outdoors instead of sitting behind a desk all day. If you’re heading down the main road, you might see us. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, nothing too crazy, just local guys doing what we know how to do with the land.
