Rich Wood Furniturers

Rich Wood Furniturers is a small workshop on Street No 6 in K H B Colony. We have been here for a long time now. The space is always filled with the smell of fresh sawdust and wood shavings. We do a lot of cutting and sanding every single day. If you come by to see us, you'll probably see us covered in a bit of dust. It's a small team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools properly. We don't use many big automatic machines; it's mostly hand work and some basic saws. Our workbenches are old and scarred from years of hard use. Sometimes the wood we get isn't perfect, so we have to spend extra time getting it right. It's a slow process overall. We don't rush things because that's how mistakes usually happen. People in the colony stop by to see what we are making. Sometimes they just want a small chair fixed or a bedroom door planed down. We take those small jobs along with the bigger ones. The street can get a bit narrow when the delivery trucks come through, so things get hectic for a bit. We've got a small kettle in the corner for making tea. Taking a break is important when you're working with your hands all day. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. We're just a local shop trying to make things that will last for a while in someone's home.
