Researchut

Researchut is located on 2nd cross in Cambridge Layout, which is part of the Ulsoor area. We found this spot a few years ago and decided to stick around. The office is basically just a regular house that we converted into a workspace. It’s quiet and there are plenty of trees on the street, which makes a nice change from the busier parts of the city. There are four or five of us working here most days. We spend a lot of time on our laptops and talking about different projects we have going on. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We usually just show up in whatever is comfortable. The kitchen is where we spend a lot of our time, mostly making coffee or trying to figure out what to order for lunch. There are cables running across the floor and piles of books on the tables. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. If someone has an idea, we just talk about it over the desk. We like the independence of being a small group. Sometimes we work late into the night if we’re stuck on a problem. It’s a low-key environment. We don't really have a sign outside, so people sometimes walk right past us. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and focused on the actual work.
