Our office is located at 30 Kanteeravanagar, right by the Mahalaxmipuram Layout last bus stop. It’s a very easy place to describe to anyone coming to visit because the buses are always right there. The building is a plain, two-story structure and we’ve been on the ground floor for quite a while now. Inside, the space is mostly taken up by large wooden desks and rows of filing cabinets. We do a lot of work involving documents and accounts, so there’s always a lot of paper moving around. The room gets a good amount of natural light in the morning, which is nice. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that we keep on high speed most of the time. It’s a local business through and through. We know many of the people who live in the houses around us, and we often see the same faces waiting at the bus stop every day. The office feels a bit old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable and it works for us. We have a small cupboard where we keep our lunch boxes and a water filter in the corner. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the buses starting up outside. We just focus on our tasks and handle whatever comes through the door each day without any fuss. There is an old umbrella stand by the door and a wall calendar that we use to mark down important dates.
