We are located over at HAL 2nd Stage, right in the Electronic Co-operative Industrial Estate. Being at number 2494 puts us right in the thick of things. Moving stuff is a lot harder than it looks. It’s not just about lifting boxes, it’s about making sure nothing breaks when the truck hits a pothole. We’ve seen it all, from heavy furniture that won't fit through a door to people who haven't finished packing when we arrive. It’s a bit of a scramble every morning getting the teams ready and checking the vehicles. The industrial estate is a busy place, so there’s always noise and trucks moving around us. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a warehouse and a small area where we keep the registers and packing tape. Some days are smoother than others. Traffic in this part of Bangalore is a nightmare, so we spend half our lives looking at maps and trying to find shortcuts. We try to be careful with people's belongings because we know how much it sucks to find a scratched table. It’s physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We just keep at it, moving boxes from one side of the city to the other. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of tape and some heavy lifting. We focus on the task and try to get the truck loaded and unloaded as safely as we can.
