Reesha Furnitures. Our shop is located at No.17 in the Af Farhath Plaza. That’s right in the middle of Shivaji Nagar on Central Street. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. Shivaji Nagar is a maze of streets and we are right in the thick of it. The plaza itself is an older building and we’ve been here for quite some time. We sell different kinds of furniture, from small cupboards to bigger sets. Because space is tight in the plaza, we can't show everything at once, but we have enough to give people an idea. The street outside is always noisy with shoppers and honking cars. We keep the front door open to let some air in, even if the dust comes in with it. Our staff is just a few people who have been with us for years. We know most of the other shop owners in Farhath Plaza, so it feels like a little community. We don't have any polished marketing slogans or anything. We just talk to the people who come in and try to help them find what they need for their homes. It’s a simple life running a furniture shop in such a busy part of town. Sometimes we share tea with the neighbors when business is slow in the afternoons. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock just piles up when new things arrive.
