Reema Medical Herbs

You can find us at No. 280/87, 3Rd 'A' Main, Begur Road in Bommanahalli. This part of town has changed a lot lately, but we are still here doing our thing with herbs and plants. We deal with medical herbs, mostly drying them and getting them ready for use. The smell inside our building is very earthy. It’s a mix of roots and dried leaves. Some people find it a bit strong, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time sorting through the raw materials that come in from the farms. You have to be careful to pick out the stones or the weeds that don't belong. It’s slow work and it can be a bit boring, but it has to be done right. Our space on Begur Road is quite functional. We have large wooden tables where we do the sorting. The sunlight comes in through the high windows and helps with the drying process. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. Most of us just wear old clothes because the plant dust gets on everything. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which we do often. The traffic on the main road is loud, but back here in the work area, it feels a bit like being in a different world. We just focus on the plants and getting the orders ready for the herb shops.
