Our office is a bit hidden away on the second floor of number 271 on Narayana Pillai Street. It’s right there in the Commercial Street area, specifically on the 3rd Cross. If you find the Ankalamma Parameswari Temple, we are just opposite that. Commercial Street is obviously one of the busiest places in Bangalore, so it’s always a bit of a walk through the crowds to get to us. We handle leisure and tourism stuff. The office is usually full of maps and notes we’ve scribbled down. It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but it’s quieter up here than down on the street. We spend our time figuring out holiday packages and trying to find decent deals for people who want to get away for a bit. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s more of a workspace where things are a little messy but we know where everything is. We have a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to printing out vouchers. The temple across the way is a good landmark, and the bells are a nice sound to have in the background while we work. It’s a lively spot to be in, even if it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We just try to get the bookings done without any fuss.
