Our office is right near the J.R.Pg Hostel in Electronic City. It’s a busy part of Bangalore with all the tech companies around, but we are just doing our logistics work. The traffic on the way here can be a real headache some mornings. We spend our time managing shipments and making sure the trucks are on schedule. It’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. We aren't a big flashy company. We just have this one spot here at number 75. Inside, it's mostly desks and stacks of delivery notes. We see a lot of students and young workers from the hostels walking by every day. It’s a fast-paced area but we try to keep a steady rhythm. The weather in Bangalore is usually okay for working, not too hot. We deal with all sorts of goods. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning the office. Other days, everything happens at once and we are running around trying to keep up. We don't use any fancy systems, just the basics to track where everything is going. We’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts around the Electronic City phase. It’s just a normal job with normal people. We do the work that needs doing and go home at the end of the day. It gets dark early in the winter months but we stay until the last truck is cleared. It’s just how it is.
