Rangnathan Eye Clinic

Rangnathan Eye Clinic is tucked away on the first floor of Building 20/1. We are right there at the 5th Crossing Lane in Malleshwaram. If you know the Manoher cloth centre, we are basically right there. It’s a busy part of the city near the Malleshwaram Circle, so there’s always noise and people moving around outside. Inside the clinic, it’s a bit quieter. We focus on eyes, obviously. People come in when they can’t see the TV clearly or need new glasses. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. Malleshwaram has changed a lot, but this lane still feels the same. We have the usual equipment for testing vision. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us working here. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs, just the one outside so people don't miss the turn. Dealing with eyes takes patience, and we try to give everyone the time they need. It’s not a fast-paced place. Sometimes there’s a wait if someone’s exam takes longer than expected. Most of our patients are seniors from the nearby streets who have been coming to us for decades. We like the history of this area. It feels like home to us, and we hope it feels okay for the patients too.
