RAMP (INDIA)

We are located right in the heart of Peenya Industrial Area. If you know Bengaluru, you know this part of the city is always moving and usually pretty dusty from all the construction and trucks passing through. RAMP (INDIA) is just one of many places here, but we’ve been at this address in Bengaluru Urban for quite a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because it can get really warm in the shed once the machines are on. We spend our time managing whatever comes through the door. It’s not a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. It’s a workshop where things actually get done. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up talking about the day’s work or complaining about the traffic on the way in. We have a small group of people here who have worked together for a long time. Karnataka has changed a lot, and Bengaluru keeps expanding, but inside these walls, it’s mostly just the sound of tools and people working. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to for an order. Most of the real work happens on the floor. It’s a bit of a maze getting to us if you aren't familiar with the Peenya layout, but we like it here. It’s where the real industry is. We just keep our heads down, do the work that’s needed, and head home when the sun goes down.
