Ram Kumar Gupta & Co is located in Yeshwantpur GIDC Estate Phase IV, over at 30/30. The estate is a huge place with lots of small businesses and workshops everywhere. Our spot is just one of many, and it’s usually quite crowded with trucks and delivery vans. Inside, we have a small office and some storage space for whatever we are handling that week. It’s not a very polished environment. The walls have some scuffs and the desks are old, but it works for us. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking through inventory lists. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we have a few old fans that hum all day. We know the other guys in the neighboring units, and we often chat with them during lunch or when we’re waiting for a shipment. It’s a tight-knit community in Phase IV. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the orders are correct and they get out on time. Sometimes the traffic in Yeshwantpur is so bad that our deliveries get delayed, and we just have to deal with it. It’s a lot of routine work, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years. It’s a practical setup and we don't see a need to change much. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily business as it comes.
