Thathwamasi Kitchen Equipments

Our shop is over on 10th Cross in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. We are pretty close to the Mount Litera Zee School, so the traffic gets a bit much in the afternoon when the kids are getting out. We deal with all sorts of kitchen equipments here. Most of it is heavy stuff, like big stoves and industrial sinks that take a couple of us to move around carefully. The floor is just plain concrete because it has to be for the weight. We spend a lot of time unboxing things or showing people how the burners and hinges work. It gets a little dusty because of the road work nearby, but we try to wipe things down when we have a spare minute. The back room is where we keep the spare parts and the larger crates that haven't been opened yet. It isn't a quiet place to work, especially with the noise from Lagere coming in through the open door. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for something specific for their restaurant or a small canteen, and we have to go digging through the inventory to find the right size. We don't do much fancy decorating in here. It’s just metal shelves and the smell of new appliances. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a straightforward setup that works for us.
