United Motors

United Motors is down at No. 20 on the 1st Main Road in Rajajinagar Industrial Town. We are right near the Lagan Mandap, so that’s a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Being in an industrial town means it’s always loud with trucks and machines nearby. We handle motor-related work, so there is usually some grease on the floor and tools scattered on the benches. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We spend the morning getting the day’s jobs lined up. If a part is missing, we have to go find it. The building at No. 20 has seen a lot of years, but it stays standing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been on this road for a long time. It’s mostly just us working on engines or whatever comes in that day. Sometimes it gets crowded with vehicles parked outside. We try to keep things moving so we don't get a backlog. It's a lot of manual labor and figuring out why a motor isn't turning. We take breaks when we can and usually have a tea stall nearby we visit. It’s just a normal shop in a busy industrial area. We do the work we know how to do and stay busy until the sun goes down. Most of the guys here have been working with motors since they were young and know exactly what to do.
