Running Raja & Company out here on Kembathalli Main Road means we see a lot of the Bannerghatta traffic passing by every single day. The shop stays pretty busy because of where we are situated. It’s not a quiet place at all. Usually, the morning starts with sweeping the front and getting the lights on before the first few people show up. We have a lot of different items sitting around, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space to put it all. It’s a bit cramped, to be honest. We spend a good chunk of our time just counting stock and making sure nothing is missing. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us leaning over a ledger or talking to a delivery driver who is trying to park on the busy road. It gets loud with the horns outside, but you get used to it after a week or so. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Things are just stacked where they fit. We know our regulars by their faces, even if we don't always remember every single name. It is just a basic operation. We handle the paperwork, deal with the suppliers, and try to make sure we have what people are looking for when they stop their bikes outside. It’s just honest work that keeps us moving from morning until we pull the shutters down at night.
