Raaj Landscapes

At Raaj Landscapes, we spend most of our time outdoors, but our main office is at 684 Makarpura Industrial Estate in the Indira Nagar Gidc area. Since we are in an industrial estate, it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. We keep our trucks and all the heavy gear here. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We started this business because we liked working with plants and dirt more than sitting in an office all day. My brother handles the scheduling and I'm usually out with the crew. We do a lot of landscaping for the bigger buildings nearby and some private gardens too. It’s hard work and we usually go home pretty tired. The office is really just a place for us to keep the books and store the shovels. We’ve been in this spot for nearly a decade now. We know the other business owners on the block, so there's a good sense of community here. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. We aren't always great at answering right away if we're in the middle of a job, but we call back when we can. It’s a basic operation. We just like seeing things grow and making a yard look a bit better than when we found it.
