R V Networks

R V Networks is up on the second floor of a building at 628 Girinagar, right on the Hennur Main Road. You have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to us, and by the time you reach the top, you're usually a bit out of breath. The view from the window is just the busy road below, which is always clogged with buses and auto-rickshaws. Since we are on the second floor, we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the window open, but then the noise is too much. We deal with a lot of networking stuff, so there are routers and switches sitting on almost every flat surface. Cables run along the floor and up the walls like vines. It’s a bit of a trip hazard if you aren’t careful where you step. The office is mostly quiet, except for the sound of server fans and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just a calendar from three years ago and a clock that’s five minutes fast. Most of the time, we are out at client sites, so the office feels a bit empty during the middle of the day. When we are here, we’re usually hunched over keyboards or trying to untangle a mess of blue ethernet cables. It’s a practical space for practical work, nothing more.
