You can find R. R. Metachem & Co. over at 16&17 on 100 Feet Road. We are tucked into the Visveswaraiah Layout, specifically in the 6th Block near Ullalu. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, so there’s always noise from the road and people passing by. Our space is basically two units put together to fit everything we need for the business. It’s not the most modern setup you’ve ever seen, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time on our feet here. Between the stock coming in and the customers asking questions, there’s rarely a quiet moment during the day. The layout around here is a bit confusing if you’re not local, but once you find the 100 Feet Road, it’s not too bad. We’ve got shelves stacked pretty high with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what’s needed. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we make do. The staff usually eats lunch together in the back room when things slow down around two o’clock. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just come in, open the shutters, and get to work. It’s a plain, honest shop. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, so we have to watch out for that. We're just regular people trying to keep the business running smoothly every day.
