R N Motors

R N Motors is located over at 75 Kamakshi Palya. It’s a garage where we spend most of our time under cars or looking at engines. The floor is usually stained with oil and there are tools scattered around the benches. We don't have a polished waiting room with coffee machines; people usually just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we take a look at their vehicles. It’s loud because of the air compressors and the sound of wrenches hitting the floor. We handle a lot of different repairs, from simple oil changes to fixing brakes that have started to squeak. Sometimes we get a car that's a real puzzle, and three of us will end up leaning over the hood trying to figure out what that weird knocking sound is. We get our hands dirty every single day, and that's just the way it works here. The shop door stays open to let the exhaust out, so we see everyone passing by on the street. We’ve got a lot of old spare parts kept in the back just in case someone needs something for an older model. It’s not a fancy dealership, just a practical place to get your car running again. We don't use computers much, except for ordering parts or looking up a wiring diagram. We just give people a fair price and tell them when their car will be ready to pick up.
