R L Industries

Our place is tucked away in Nandhini Layout, specifically on the 25th Main. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly residential but there are these pockets where work gets done. We run R L Industries from here, and it’s mostly about the noise of machines and the smell of whatever we’re processing that day. It’s not the quietest spot to be, but it’s where we’ve set up. The building at No. 585 isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get the orders out. Some mornings start really early when the lorries arrive. We have to be careful with the space because the road can get tight if a big vehicle is parked outside for too long. People often walk past and peek in to see what’s going on. We don’t have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just find one of us covered in a bit of grit or holding a tool. We deal with a lot of regular clients who have been coming to this same spot for years. They know where we are, so we don’t really bother with big signs. It’s just about getting the parts or the products finished and ready for whoever needs them. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired, but the shop stays open until the last bit of work is finished and everything is cleared for the next morning.
