R K Color Lab

R K Color Lab is situated over at 15 BTM Layout 2nd Stage. We are in Madoana Colony, which is really close to Yayadeva Hospital. It’s a busy little corner of Bangalore. We spend our days mostly surrounded by printers, cameras, and stacks of photo paper. People come in all the time for different things. Some need photos for their passports, while others want to print out old family pictures they found. It’s a simple business. We don't have any high-tech automated systems that do everything. It’s just us manually checking the colors and making sure the prints look okay. The shop is a bit small, and sometimes it gets crowded if more than three people walk in at once. We’ve got some old frames on the walls and a counter that has seen better days. But it works. Being near the hospital means we see a lot of people passing by. We’ve been here for quite a while now. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We don't try to be a fancy studio with lights and backdrops everywhere. We just focus on the printing side of things. It’s a bit messy with all the ink and paper scraps, but that’s just how a real lab looks. We like the pace here. It feels honest and local. We just do our work and hope the photos turn out how people want them. That is the long and short of it.
