Our office is located at Plot Number 696 in Kudalwadi, which is over in the Rajajinagar area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of movement. We have been working from this specific spot for quite a bit now. We do architectural designs for all kinds of different clients. The place is usually filled with the sound of fans humming and people talking over large drawings. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us sitting at desks and sometimes arguing about where a window should go or how a roof should look. It’s a lot of detail work and you have to be very careful with the numbers. We deal with the local authorities a lot for permits and things like that. That part of the job is mostly waiting around and filling out a lot of forms. It’s not exactly fun, but it has to be done to get things built. We have a lot of physical models lying around from old projects we finished years ago. They gather quite a bit of dust but we like keeping them around. The neighborhood is okay for work. There are some good places to get a quick lunch nearby. We usually just grab something and come back to the desk. Projects take months, and we follow them from the first sketch to the very final brick. It’s satisfying but it's also very tiring for everyone involved.
