R G Lock House

My family has been at 36 Mamulpet Satellite for quite some time now. We handle locks and keys mostly. People come by when they lose their house keys or need a padlock that actually works. It gets busy on this street, but we try to keep things organized. Usually, it's just one of us behind the counter. We’ve got rows of different brands and types, some old and some newer ones. It's dusty sometimes because of all the metal cutting, but that’s just how it is here. If you walk past the satellite area, you'll see our sign. We aren't fancy. Most neighbors know us by name because we’ve been around the block. Sometimes a key doesn't turn right the first time and we have to shave it down a bit more until it clicks. That’s the job. We don’t have a huge staff, just a couple of guys who know how a tumbler should feel. It's a small space, packed with boxes and metal bits. We stay open until the evening most days unless something comes up. If you need a spare set for your kids or just a sturdier bolt for the back door, this is where we sit. It’s nothing special to look at, but we get the work done. The shop has its quirks, like the squeaky stool by the window, but we like it here and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
