R C E & Co is based in Basavanagudi, right on Patalamma Temple Street. If you’ve ever walked down that road, you know the vibe—it’s very traditional and can get quite lively during temple festivals. We are on the first floor of building number 32. It’s a typical old-school Bangalore building. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the light in the hallway is sometimes flickery, but the office itself is decent. We’ve got our desks pushed against the walls and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. Working here means hearing the bells from the temple and the sound of people walking by outside. It’s a small team of us. We mostly deal with numbers and client records throughout the day. Lunch usually happens at our desks or we go grab a quick bite at one of the small places nearby. It’s nothing spectacular, just a place where we do our jobs. We’ve had the same furniture for years, and the tea guy comes by every afternoon around three. It’s a steady routine. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the folders in front of us and try to stay on top of the deadlines. Sometimes the street gets so loud we have to close the windows, but usually, it's just part of the background.
