Quantity Surveyor

We work out of Bellandur, right next to the Panchayat office. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore but we like it here. My name is on the door and we handle the math for building projects. Mostly, we spend our days looking at drawings and counting up materials so nobody buys too much or runs out halfway through a job. It is just a small office at Mb Reddy’s place. We started this because the local construction scene needed people who actually pay attention to the numbers. It isn't fancy. There's a lot of tea drinking and arguing over cost sheets. We’ve been in this village for a while now. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, but that is just Bangalore for you. When a contractor needs a list of what to buy, they come to us. We try to keep things straightforward. No one wants a complicated explanation when they just need to know the budget. I usually have my head down in a spreadsheet most mornings. It is honest work. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to measure things properly. If you are looking for the office, just ask for the building beside the Panchayat, everyone knows where it is. We keep the files organized, or at least we try to. It gets dusty with all the construction nearby. That’s pretty much us. Just a local spot doing survey work for the local folks here.
