Quality Lab Technician

We are located at the Rmc Plant 1 in Bangalore-66, specifically at Ramesh Kumar Gopalan Enterprises. Our spot is right opposite Saibaba Hospital, which makes it easy to find in the Global Axis area. We work as lab technicians, mainly focusing on testing the quality of the concrete and materials coming through the plant. It’s a dusty and busy environment, not like the clean labs you see on TV. We have our testing equipment and we spend our time checking how strong the samples are. We aren't a big, polished organization. It’s just a bunch of us working in the plant day in and day out. We don't have any marketing speak or big goals other than making sure the batch is right. If the mix is off, we have to catch it before it goes out to a construction site. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just treat it like any other job. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The Bangalore traffic can be pretty bad around here, so we usually just stay put at the plant until the shift is over. We don't use fancy titles or act like we’re better than the guys driving the trucks. We’re all just part of the same process. It’s honest, practical work and we just do our best to stay on top of the numbers without making it sound more complicated than it really is.
