Our office is tucked away in Rajajinagar, specifically on 20th Main Road in the 1-R Block. It’s part of the Suryadev building, number 11/23. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, being a partnership between Qre-Greenesol and the Hangzhou Qiantang River group, but we just handle the power transformer side of things here. If you know West of Chord Road, we aren't too hard to find. The traffic around here can be a real pain in the mornings, but that’s just Bangalore for you. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and people looking at technical drawings or talking on the phone. We deal with some pretty big electrical equipment, stuff that helps keep the lights on in different places. It’s not really the kind of work you see on the street, but it’s essential. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the paperwork involved in international stuff, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just work out of this corner of Rajajinagar and try to keep things moving. Most of us grab tea at the small shop down the road during breaks. It's a regular workplace with regular people. We've got a few engineers and some admin folks who have been here since the start. It's a steady pace most weeks, nothing too crazy. There is always a stack of blueprints on someone’s desk.
