Puttaiah Solvents Ltd.

We’re based out in Kamalanagar, in the Gauhalakshmi Layout area. Our place is at 101, 2nd Stage, and it’s a bit quieter here than in the city center, which we actually prefer. Puttaiah Solvents Ltd. has been around this neighborhood for a good stretch of time. The building is simple, and we share the area with a mix of other small businesses and some houses. It feels a bit more like a community than an industrial park. Inside the office, things are kept pretty practical. We have some shelves for our samples and records, and a big table where we do most of our sorting and planning. It’s not a shiny, glass-walled office; it’s more of a place where you aren't afraid to get a little bit of dust on your shoes. We usually start the day early, before the sun gets too high, and try to get the heavy work done first. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery, so the front door gets a lot of use. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment—just the tools we need to do our jobs properly. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need many meetings to know what’s going on. We just get on with the task at hand, keep an eye on the inventory, and make sure the accounts are sorted by the end of the month. It's a steady life and it suits us just fine. We enjoy the pace.
