Punar Jyoti Eye Hospital

We’ve been here at Punar Jyoti Eye Hospital for a while now. Our spot is right at No.37 in Cubbunpet Market, and you can’t really miss it because we are basically next to the Ganesh Temple. It gets pretty loud and busy out there with the market crowds, but that is just how it is in this part of town. People usually find us by looking for the temple first. The building is older, and we just go about our business day to day. We spend most of our time looking at eyes and helping folks who walk in from the market or the surrounding streets. It’s a practical place, not fancy. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic from the street, especially during festival times when the temple is packed. We have a few chairs for people to wait, and we try to keep things moving. Most of the people who come in are locals who have lived in Cubbunpet their whole lives. It is just a regular hospital setup where we do our work and go home. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here in the middle of the market. We keep the doors open, and if someone has a problem with their vision, they just walk in.
