PROYE Design

PROYE Design is based at 34 Wind Tunnel Road in Murugeshpalya, right by the Old Airport. If you’re coming our way, we’re the building adjacent to the HDFC ATM. It’s a handy landmark because people always seem to get lost on Wind Tunnel Road when they first visit. Our studio is a place where we sit down and try to figure out how to make things look good for the projects we have. It’s not a giant corporate office; it feels more like a workshop. There are sketches and samples scattered around, and the computers are always humming. The area around the Old Airport has a specific feel, with the planes occasionally flying low and the constant flow of traffic on the main road. Being in Bangalore - 560017 means we deal with the usual city life, like the rain making the road a bit muddy or the occasional power flicker. We don't worry too much about having everything perfectly polished. The focus is on the work on our desks. We grab tea from the stall down the road and usually eat lunch at our desks when we’re busy. It’s a practical space where we can focus without too many distractions, even if the road outside is noisy. Having the ATM next door is actually quite convenient for the staff when we need cash. It’s just a normal, busy design studio where we get on with things in our own way. We like it here.
