About Project Quantity Surveyor – Metals & Minerals in Bengaluru
I work out of the Munni Reddy Building, number 1, in G.S. Palaya. It’s right in Electronic City, which everyone knows is the tech hub of Bangalore. I’m a quantity surveyor, so my whole life is about costs and materials. I spend my days looking at spreadsheets and counting things. It might sound boring to some, but I like the precision of it. My office is pretty simple, just a desk and a good calculator. I don't go for any of that high-end corporate decor. The building is easy to find, and I’ve been in this spot for a while now. I work on projects around the city, making sure the money is being spent where it should be. Electronic City is always loud and moving, so I usually have some music playing to drown out the traffic. I don’t promise to save people millions of dollars; I just promise to be honest about what things cost. My notes are usually a bit messy, but the numbers are always right. I deal with contractors who sometimes try to overcharge, so I have to be a bit tough. It’s just part of the job. I’ve lived in Bangalore long enough to know how to handle the local way of doing business. If you need someone to look over a bill of quantities, this is where I do that work. It's a small place, but it works for me.
