Project Manager (Civil)

We operate out of Hema Villa over on Netravathi Street in Uday Nagar. K R Puram is where we call home base. My daily routine mostly involves handling civil projects and keeping an eye on how things are moving on the ground. I’ve been doing this kind of work for a good while now. Most of my time is spent on the phone or looking at messy blueprints. Bangalore traffic is always a mess, so getting to the sites usually takes longer than I’d like. We don't have one of those shiny corporate offices. It’s just a plain, useful room where the planning gets done. People drop in when they have questions about timelines or if a delivery hasn't shown up. It stays busy, and my desk usually ends up buried under paperwork by noon. Since I’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, I know the shortcuts and the local suppliers. If you’re trying to find us, the villa is easy enough to spot once you get off the main street. We take care of the civil aspects, mainly the structures and the foundations. It’s gritty work and it gets dusty, but it’s what we know. We just try to get through the task list every day. Problems come up on site all the time, so I spend a lot of time just sorting those out so the guys can keep working.
