Our office is down at No.41 in the J.C. Industrial Estate, right off Kanakapura Road in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a drive out here, especially with the way the traffic has been lately, but it’s where we get our work done. We handle medical systems here at Prognosys. It sounds very high-tech, and I guess it is, but we’re just regular folks behind the desks and benches. The estate is full of all sorts of businesses, so there’s always something going on nearby. We spend a lot of time testing equipment and making sure everything is calibrated right. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s important. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone and trying to help a client with a technical question. The building is simple, nothing too flashy. We have a small break room where we eat our lunch and complain about the commute. Bangalore has grown so much since we started, and Yelachanahalli used to feel much further away. Now it’s all part of the sprawl. We’re just happy to have a steady place to work. We don't try to impress anyone with big words. We just focus on the medical gear and making sure it works when it’s supposed to. It’s a quiet, busy life for us here on Kanakapura Road.
