We’ve been here at the Kanasu Complex on Kabir Mutt Road for a good while now. Most people around Hanumantha Nagar know the spot because it’s easy to find once you’re on this street. It gets pretty busy during the day with people coming in and out looking for different kinds of tools or just asking about equipment they need for work. The shop isn't huge but we keep a lot of things packed onto the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact piece someone wants because stuff gets moved around a lot. My hands are usually a bit greasy from handling the stock, so the counter is always getting wiped down. We mostly deal with local folks and small contractors who need gear that actually works. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes most mornings. The tea stall nearby keeps us going when things get slow in the afternoon. We don’t do much fancy stuff here, just selling what’s on the racks and making sure the inventory stays somewhat organized. It gets hot in the summer since the ventilation isn't perfect, but we make do. People just stop by, tell us what’s broken or what they’re trying to build, and we see if we have the right tool in the back. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the road. I usually lock up around seven.
