Priyadarshini Filaments Pvt.Ltd is based at number 16 in the 4th Main Industrial Town. It’s tucked away West of Chord Road in Rajajinagar. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of machinery in the air. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite some years. The building is a sturdy concrete structure that’s seen a lot of use. We work with filaments here, which means there are lots of spools and winding machines going all day long. It gets a bit dusty, but that’s the nature of the business. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since the start. We don't really have a big corporate hierarchy. The manager is usually out on the floor with everyone else, making sure the machines are running okay. Sometimes parts break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them. It’s just part of the routine. We get our raw materials delivered by truck and it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting them into the bay. The neighborhood has changed a bit over time, but we’re still here doing the same thing. We aren't looking to change the world, just keeping the production lines moving and getting the orders out to the people who need them. It’s a practical place for practical work.
