Austin Town is one of those places in Bangalore that stays busy from morning until late at night. Our little spot is right in the BDA Complex, specifically at Shop No.4. It is not a very big shop, but it serves the purpose for what we do here. Mirza Ferdos Ali and Mirza Mokthar Ali have been around this area for quite some time now. When you come into the complex, you might have to look around a bit because it gets crowded with people going to the different vegetable stalls and small stores nearby. The walls inside could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we mostly just focus on getting the work done. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but you get used to it after a while. Most days, we just sit here and deal with whatever comes through the door. It’s a practical setup. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually grab a glass in the afternoon when things slow down. The traffic on the main road outside is always loud, but inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of papers and people talking. We don't have any fancy furniture or a big sign, just the name on the door and a few chairs for whoever drops by to see us. It’s just how things are run in this part of town and we like it.
