Private Banking

Ulsoor is a nice enough part of Bangalore, though the traffic near the lake can be a real headache some afternoons. We are based out of Shanthi Apartments, which is a fairly old building but it’s sturdy. Our space is number 10 on the 3rd floor. You have to walk down the hallway a bit to find us. It’s a quiet building mostly, except for when the kids come home from school in the afternoon. Inside, we have a few desks pushed against the walls and plenty of shelf space for all the paperwork that comes with banking. The light in the mornings is actually quite good because of the way the windows face. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People just knock and come in. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s just a regular apartment turned into a workspace. We’ve been here long enough that the security guard at the gate knows us by name. There’s a small shop downstairs where we buy biscuits and pens when we run out. It is not a flashy corporate office with glass walls, just a functional place where the work gets handled day in and day out. Karnataka weather stays mostly decent, so we don't mind the commute too much most days of the week when we have to be here.
