The road outside is a main artery, so there are always buses and trucks passing by our front. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just stacks of plywood and sheets of glass leaned up against the walls. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time moving heavy items and making sure everything is measured out. Our hands are usually covered in dust or a bit of dirt from the materials, but that’s just part of the work. We aren't interested in looking like a big, polished corporation. This is a local business where you talk to real people. The shop is functional and serves its purpose. We don't have a team of designers or anything like that. We just focus on the glass and plywood that people need. Being in Madiwala means we see all sorts of people every day. Some are just passing through and others have lived in Roopena Agrahara for years. It’s a steady environment for us. We start our work early to stay ahead of the heat and the heaviest traffic. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and we like it.
