We have our office set up on the first floor of a building in Basaveshwaranagar. To find us, you have to go to 2nd Main and 3rd Cross, near the number 8 spot. Bangalore is a big city, but this neighborhood still feels like a proper community. We do project management, which basically means we keep track of everyone else’s work so things don’t fall apart. It involves a lot of phone calls to contractors and writing down lists of what needs to happen next. Our office is pretty small and there are usually stacks of drawings and schedules sitting on the desks. We aren't corporate types who wear suits every day. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable because we spend half our time out at construction sites anyway. It can get pretty loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that is just how we work. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us leaning over a table looking at a map or a budget sheet. We try to be helpful to the people who hire us, and we don't use a lot of jargon. We just say what needs to be fixed and how long it’s going to take. It is a practical way to run things in a city that’s always building something new and complicated.
