Pretech Plast

Pretech Plast is out in Jigani at number 114. If you know this area you know it is mostly factories and industrial sheds. We fit right in with the rest of them. Our days are filled with the sound of machines running and the smell of raw plastic being processed. It’s a heavy environment but it is what we do. We have a small crew that takes care of the production lines. Some of us have been working these machines since the start. It isn't a clean job. There are scraps and bits of material everywhere but we try to keep the main areas clear. We produce various plastic items that go out to other companies. People don't really come here for a tour or anything like that. It is just a place where work happens. The weather in Jigani can get pretty dusty especially when the trucks go past. We keep a regular schedule from Monday through Saturday. Sometimes we have to stay late if an order is behind. We don't have any big corporate signs or a lobby with coffee. Usually, you just find us on the shop floor checking the molds. It is basic manufacturing. We don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. We just watch the temperature of the machines and hope the power stays steady all day. It’s just us doing our bit out here.
