Our office is up on the 4th floor of the Jupiter block, which is part of the 2A section along the Marathahalli Ring Road. If you know that area, you know how the traffic can get. We spend a lot of time looking out the windows at the cars stuck down there while we wait for our meetings to start. It’s a pretty big space, but it still feels a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. There are always people walking around with laptops and coffee mugs. We’ve got a lot of desks lined up in rows, and the lighting is that typical office white that gets a bit tiring by the afternoon. Harman International India has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the area change quite a lot. There’s always construction happening somewhere nearby, so there’s a constant hum of machines in the distance. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate speech thing here. We just show up, do the tasks assigned to us, and try to get out before the evening rush hour hits its peak. Lunch is usually a quick affair at the cafeteria or something brought from home in a plastic box. It’s just a regular workplace where people are trying their best to get through the day’s list of things to do. Sometimes the printer jams right when you're in a hurry, and we all just stand around looking confused. It's those little things that make the office feel like a real place.
